Busy, busy, busy. I'm not really, I just felt like saying
that.
Well today has been a big day for updates. There's some good
additions to the "Fun Stuff"
section. Also, I have added two new sections:
And once again I have updated the automated layout of the
site and tweaked a few minor issues I was having. I must say
that Macromedia Dreamweaver UtraDev 4 was one of the best
purchases I ever made. Hooray for templates and library items!
As a side note, the two planned sections "Files"
and "Programs" have been consolidated into one "Downloads"
section. But as this is also a planned section and doesn't
have any content either, I don't suppose this news will be
rocking anyone's world.
On a down note the site has just hit 5.69Mb in total size.
This is good because that means lots of content, but it is
bad because I only have 10Mb web space in total. Looks like
it's time to find a professional web hosting service. A cheep
one, as this is a non-profit web site. If anyone can help
please contact me at admin@glowwyrm.cjb.net.

Restore from backup:
Argh! Don't you just hate it when your web hosting service
decides to restore from backup, unannounced. What is worse
is when the backup is over 6 months old.
Fortunately, I am a meticulous backer-upperer
... but I've been away, so who knows how many days the site
was down?
On a lighter note, Today I have refined a few areas of the
site's layout and added a couple of new sections (with content):
P.S. A short note to any programmers
with Pascal knowledge:
Delphi 6 is terriffic. You can get a copy of "Delphi
6 Personal Edition" for free from www.borland.com
(it's a pretty big download, but once you extract all the
files, you can burn them to CD and voila! you have a installation
CD complete with autorun.) The only limitation to D6PE
is that its not for commercial use. But that's fine by me,
I just want to write stuff for me to use. If I need to use
a commercial version I'll buy a licence, and recompile the
project. As far as I can tell the only difference is the licence
agreement. The program seems to be fully featured.
