Well, from a server point of view, stuff is up and running,
and I'm gradually getting through the process of content creation
(YAY!).
It's quite amazing how your free time can just vanish when all
you have to do is:
- Create a website for personal purposes
- Run countless websites for work (this eats into your spare
time like you wouldn't believe
)
- Help your girlfriend move house
- Find a full time job
- Rewire a radio studio
- Run a computer repars-rebuilds business from home to help
keep your head above water
- Find a full time job
- Re-Learn Java, C++, Delphi, Visual Basic, despite just
having finished five years at university getting a Computer
Science degree, because the last two years involved NO
PROGRAMMING WHATSOEVER
- Eat
- Sleep
- Wash
- Find a full time job
I guess it's not that amazing after all.
Well, I should probably get to work on some content for this
site eh?

If these FTP server problems continue this site will never
get to go live.
Hopefully I can do something about it before midnight, otherwise
the site will be delayed until next week, and that just won't
do at all.
Also, I have added my old Java text-scroller applet at the
top of this page. I was sifting through my old source-code
files looking for a piece of run-length compression code I
wrote a while ago and I came across the source for my scroller
which works rather well. So, I thought to myself "Why
not?", and here it is.
I think I might change the code a bit. At the moment all
the colours, the scroll speed and even the "sleep time"
between redraws are parameters. But I would like to add basic
HTML type functionality, with text attributes (colours, bolding,
italics, underlining, etc...), text font, and even image and
hyper-link support. I also intend to place this applet on
the "Programs" page for download for public use,
when I get the chance.

Site officially delayed until 2:00pm March 7th, due to problems
with Telstra's FTP server.
Well my work load is going from "crazy" to "insane"
at the moment at work, and all I have is 10 megs of web space
to work with for this site. But on the bright side I finally
graduated. Yes, that is correct, I am now a B.App.Sci.
(C.S. & S.Eng.) - That's "Bachelor of Applied
Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering"

Site ready to go online, but thanks to those knuckle-heads
at telstra, the FTP server is down and I am unable to put
this site live.
This is the part where I get to winge about stupid people.
"Why?" you ask (or maybe you don't). Because it's
my site! If you don't like it, make your own one. Rant! Rant!
Rant!
Ho boy! What a day!
It was one thing after another today. At the end of it all,
this site stil wasn't live, my CD burner is dead, a very large
portion of my work colleagues give me the impression that
they couldn't get out of bed without a map and the weather
is utterly rotten.
